Not your usual developer…

Klaus’s journey is as dynamic as his interests. Born in Germany, he spent six formative years in Luxembourg and a decade in Los Angeles before making Colorado his home in 2006. Transitioning from a successful career in finance, Klaus co-founded a digital marketing agency with his brother and business partner, Felix, before ultimately finding his passion as a developer.

Drawn to the vibrant area between Denver and Boulder, Klaus initially settled in Westminster. Enchanted by the opportunities around the Westminster B-Line station, he bought his first home in 2014 and lived in the area for 4 years. Living across the street from the corner lot where Nexus-Village now sits, Klaus slowly bought the lot. Slowly, his plans grew, as he envisioned the project visible today.

When he lived across the street, Klaus enjoyed running around the Jim Baker Reservoir and biking along the Little Dry Creek path to Golden and Lookout Mountain. His eBike adventures took him up the hills to Regis, the shops of Tennyson Street, and the lively 32nd Avenue in the Highlands. His sweet tooth often led him to Sweets of Inspiration, Westminster’s top bakery, while the South Westminster Library and nearby pool and rec center were regular stops.

As a passionate skier, Klaus loved the convenience of reaching Winter Park or Copper Mountain in just 70 minutes. Visits to family in Germany were a breeze, with the airpot 30 minutes away or a lightrail ride to Union Station and then the Airport.

Klaus takes pride in being engaged in the places he lives. He served on the Westminster Chamber of Commerce for a year and a half, and closely followed the Westminster Downtown development project since the old mall’s demolition. He frequents Olde Town Arvada, Tennyson and the RiNo district to meet friends, and his front yard’s raised garden beds often spark neighborhood conversations.

Ever the explorer, Klaus delights in discovering hidden gems like the independent businesses on Lowell Blvd and believes in the area’s potential for transformation without losing its charm. His love for tennis and pickleball finds him making new friends on the eight new courts on Lowell Blvd. His life story is a testament to his love for exploration, community, and the vibrant places he calls home.
